Overview

The Account Manager (AM) is the primary liaison between the client and ARM and their primary role is to lead the strategic vision for growing and optimizing client campaigns. The AM will be responsible for meeting clients’ budget and performance goals by putting together campaigns focusing on influencers in the audio space. This role will drive the strategy and make sure all facets of the campaign – from creative concepting to campaign tracking to influencer communication and more – run smoothly. This role may also help to support members of the media team to help to guide them on the tactical elements of campaigns as well personal development. ARM requires all account managers constantly working to exceed client expectations in all areas.

Responsibilities

  • Primary liaison with the client and owner of the client relationship
  • Develop strategic plan for client including campaign development and performance optimization, all while adhering to client budgets
  • Working with client to understand KPI’s and constantly optimizing to achieve these results
  • Responsible for campaign management, project management, and media logistics
  • Working with strategic rep partners to negotiate and develop various audio opportunities
  • Working with media buyer team to vet, approve and present media opportunities to client
  • Creating and presenting weekly reports and making performance recommendations based on client KPI’s and performance goals
  • Partner with Analytics team to ensure proper build out and accuracy of outputs in client reporting
  • Responsible for compiling data for regular and special reports for client and/or internal use
  • Reconciling monthly billing and working with finance to ensure accurate billing
  • Working with internal groups to ensure all tactical elements related to client and campaigns are executed properly
  • Ad hoc client projects as requested
  • Working with buying team to help with tactical elements of campaigns

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
  • Must be able to communicate effectively between all internal departments as well as with vendors and clients
  • Very comfortable in excel and working with spreadsheets and numbers
  • Confident demeanor and ability to persuade and have a strong point of view
  • Able to work autonomously and collectively in a high-pressure/fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task and pivot quickly based on client and organization needs
  • Ability to think critically and be able to fill in gaps when not all the information is clearly defined
  • Ability to meet both internal and client deadlines
  • Knowledge of analytics and ability to interpret data help guide clients on plan optimization based on client KPI’s
  • Some knowledge of web analytics, specifically Google Analytics, is a plus
  • Self-starter who isn’t afraid to ask hard questions
  • Thirst for knowledge and seeks to better themselves in the industry by participating in educational opportunities and keeping up on industry news
