Overview
Ad Results Media is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This person will be responsible for filling open positions for Ad Results Media. They will oversee the entire Recruiting process from the locating potential applicants via various sources, to interviewing and offering positions to qualified applicants.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with hiring managers in various departments to define recruitment needs and plan the hiring process
- Create and revise job descriptions
- Screen resumes and job applications
- Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
- Interview candidates for a wide range of roles (junior, senior and executive)Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire
- Conduct all reference checks for candidates throughout the hiring process
- Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings
- Act as the main point of contact throughout the recruiting process
- Network and build relationships with agencies, schools, etc.
- Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys
- Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods
- Host and participate in job fairs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter or similar role
- Hands-on experience with the largest job sites like ZipRecruiter and Indeed
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, Github and Stack Overflow
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Strong interviewing skills and experience with various interview techniques (like video or phone interviews)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform tasks correctly and accurately
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where you need to work quickly and accurately
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of teamwork and willingness to collaborate cross-functionally
- Very comfortable in Microsoft Office and Excel/Google Sheets
