Overview
Ad Results Media is seeking an Human Resource Generalist to join our Operations team. The HR Generalist should be detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. This person will be assisting in business and operational tasks related to HR including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, data tracking, reporting, etc.
Responsibilities
- Assists in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Conducts preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge qualifications, interest, and culture fit
- Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status
- Ensures proper onboarding for new hires including the completion of required paperwork
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
- Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance
- Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures
- Maintains company directory and other organizational charts
- Assists with employee training
- Assists HR Director with long term initiatives and projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
- At least 2-4 years’ work experience in Human Resources
- Proven work experience as a HR Generalist
- Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Detail and goal-oriented, has the flexibility to deal with multiple and changing priorities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where you need to work quickly and accurately
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of teamwork and willingness to collaborate cross-functionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel/Google Sheets and working with spreadsheets and numbers
- Hands-on experience with recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems
