HR Generalist

Overview

Ad Results Media is seeking an Human Resource Generalist to join our Operations team. The HR Generalist should be detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. This person will be assisting in business and operational tasks related to HR including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, data tracking, reporting, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Conducts preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge qualifications, interest, and culture fit
  • Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status
  • Ensures proper onboarding for new hires including the completion of required paperwork
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
  • Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance
  • Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures
  • Maintains company directory and other organizational charts
  • Assists with employee training
  • Assists HR Director with long term initiatives and projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • At least 2-4 years’ work experience in Human Resources
  • Proven work experience as a HR Generalist
  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Detail and goal-oriented, has the flexibility to deal with multiple and changing priorities
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where you need to work quickly and accurately
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of teamwork and willingness to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel/Google Sheets and working with spreadsheets and numbers
  • Hands-on experience with recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems
