Director of Data Analytics


The director of data analytics strives is responsible for driving client analytics and delivering recommendations to our clients. The desired candidate is a trusted and highly collaborative thought leader that can work cross-functionally with a variety of people and work styles achieving innovative results. This person will identify and understand our client's business challenges and goals by employing data to inform media and messaging recommendations. Additionally, this candidate will closely collaborate with our internal teams to develop and support our client’s data-driven digital media strategy and drive measurable business outcomes.


  • Communicate data and insights in a compelling way, creating clear and inspiring presentations of approach, findings and recommendations that directly inform the overarching strategy
  • Develop core growth analysis and critical metrics to evaluate client performance and strategic initiatives
  • Provide insights to support data-driven decisions such as building and sharing dashboards, communicating, and collaborating with internal stakeholders, helping to answer questions and uncover trends and actionable insights across the business
  • Lead client engagement calls to present recommendations and insights
  • Continuously identify new ways to utilize data to fuel media and messaging decisions, helping to plan content, and activation teams make more data-led recommendations
  • Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients and be able to challenge, persuade and present POV convincingly
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners, to ensure we are delivering best practice to our clients and leveraging all our experience, thought leadership and proprietary data to drive maximum value
  • Ensure quality, creativity and integrity of all services provided, as well as timeliness across all deliveries from team
  • Maintain a strong understanding of our evolving data warehouse


  • Bachelors degree in business, finance, analytics, or related field
  • 7-10 years of progression in data analytics, finance, or corporate strategy
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Sound technical marketing research skills
  • Strong business understanding
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Experience in marketing, data analysis, data science or related field (required)
  • Experience with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other database systems
  • Experience in Looker, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms
  • Experience in R studio, STATA, SPSS, Python, or other statistical modeling software
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing channels, their strategic, and tactical impact on marketing and business goals, with an emphasis on increasing client ROI
